Update on new construction in Cayo Ensenachos
INFO DEC. 16th, 2011 (message from the Iberostar management) ...
« The Hotel is now officially a Family resort and family bookings are accepted by your tour operator/travel agent for Park Suites section. The Kid's Club & Playground have not been completed, the facilities are expected to be ready by December 31, 2012, in the meantime, the hotel will use the Club House located by the basketball/tennis courts and they will offer a complete mini club experience; including supervised activities, games plus some other activities on the beach and pool areas. The Aqua Park has also not been completed yet, it is expected to be finalized by January 15, 2012. New Beach restaurant has not been completed but hot dogs and hamburgers are provided on the beach as usual »

First of all, I would like to thank Francine (Luciole) and Claude, who were at the Iberostar Ensenachos at the end of November 2011. They brought for us these photos and information on construction in progress.
The Park Suite sector will not be completed as planned for December 15th, 2011. Initially, the constructions were planned to be completed in November! The Park Suites is currently closed. The water park is being built with children's pool and kid club.
Playa Megano is now available, although the footbridge is not entirely complete. People with reduced mobility may now easily get to the beach. The nautical club is functional.
The photos below were taken between November 20th and 27th, 2011. It is quite hard to imagine that the work of the Park Suite sector will be completed soon !!!
When we are notified by the Canadian tour operator of the next « official » date of completion of the work and the opening the water park, we will update our site. Come back visiting us!
