Google Earth is a free software that allows viewing of the planet with an assembly of satellite photos.

This software allows any user to fly over the Earth and zoom in on a place of their choice. An essential tool for all webmasters.

By geographical region and year when the photo was taken, the information available is more or less accurate. The update is sometimes long and often with images dating back several years.

This software was initially known as Earth Viewer and was developed by Keyhole Inc.. which was bought by Google in 2004 and renamed Google Earth in 2005.

The average resolution is approximately 15 meters but may sometimes be very detailed, but never as much as military satellites!
