Pueblo La Estrella
The Town or Pueblo La Estrella is located between the Barcelo Cayo Santa Maria Beach and the Memories Santa Maria (formerly the Barcelo Cayo Santa Maria Caribe). It opened its door in December 12th 2009. It offers with many services and operated by Gaviota.
As the pueblo is not administered by Barcelo Santa Maria, any customers from the other hotels can enjoy services of this small village. To promote this center, there are two shuttle buses. It costs 1 CUC per trip (2 CUC round trip).

The pueblo has a parking lot, restrooms, shops, artcraft boutiques, musical plaza (live music orchestra and dancers from 7h30 pm to 10 pm), disco (2 CUC entrance fee and 1 CUC per drinks, opens from 10 pm to 3 am, capacity max. 200 persons).
